Love Island fans were baffled during the first episode after Patsy Field admitted she still shares a bed with her mum but dislikes mummy's boys. The brand new series of Love Island returned with a bang on Monday night (June 3), with a fresh set of singletons ready to find love. While getting acquainted with one another Patsy revealed some personal news to her fellow islander Ayo.
When asked what she gets up to in her spare time, the 29-year-old said: "I don't know. My life has got so boring, I share a bed with my mum." She added: "So I haven't really been around men for a very long time I moved back into to my mum's house in December and she kind of didn't have a room for me, so she was like obviously you can share my bed.
" But since Patsy said mummy's boys give her the ick and the fact she's 29, fans were quick to point this out. Heading over to X, one viewer said: "So Patsy hates mummy’s boys but shares a bed with her mum?" Another joked: "I think patsy mum sent her on there just so she can have her bed to herself for 8 weeks." A third said: "Patsy, 29, has just confessed that she shares a bed with her mum.
Ayo, meanwhile, did his very best to remain polite and act as if this is completely normal behaviour for a woman who is almost 30." While a fourth seemed to blame the government for Patsy's sleeping arrangements and wrote: "Patsy sharing a bed with her mum at 29? @Conservatives this is broken Britain, cost of living got the bad bs doing top and tail with the last gener.
