LOVE Island fans want a major overhaul of the show, demanding a huge part of Casa Amor is axed. The hit dating show and its stunning presenter Maya Jama , 29, recently announced the date that the ITV show returns to our screens. The 11th series of the popular show will be airing Monday June 3rd, but some fans have taken the announcement as an opportunity to express their frustration with how one of the show's biggest twists works.
A number of fans have 'grown tired' of the way Casa Amor plays out, taking to Reddit to suggest that the second villa needs to have a different format this year. They believe that, this time around, only new boys should be introduced at the Casa stage, scrapping the new intake of girls that usually come in too. Explaining their reasoning, one fan posted: "Producers if you're reading this, I'm just saying, the same old Casa format has become stale.
The OG girls should be taken away to Casa like normal, thinking their OG boys will be cracking on in the Villa." They continued: "But the twist is, the OG boys don't get new Casa girls, unbeknownst to the OG girls. This a way better alternative than us watching "wayward boy cracks on, OG girl cries but then forgives him" tired narrative.
" Over 190 fans liked the post, proving the poster is not alone in their frustration. Casa Amor has been a show staple since it was introduced to the show in season three. It usually takes place halfway during the season and has been designed to test the loyalty of the budd.
