In a rare TV appearance since he was dropped from Britain's Got Talent and replaced by Bruno Tonioli David Walliams was interviewed on ITV1 show Lorraine. During the interview host Lorraine Kelly told David "do be quiet" as he spoke about his new children's book. David's latest book Astro Chimp is a comic book adventure, illustrated by Adam Stower, and while looking at the book on the show Lorraine commented: "I like the pussy cats! The pussy cats are good!" and David then joked: "It is like you are reading it for the first time!" Quickly shutting David down, Lorraine replied: "No I'm not! You shut up, you be quiet!" before David continued to chat about the book.

He said: "We've been creating a new show, every time it's mentioned they say oh Little Britain is coming back! It is not Little Britain, it is something new. New characters, new situation and it is the most fun working together..
