A Little Mix star looked completely different years before she shot to fame with the chart-topping girlband. Jade Thirlwall first auditioned for The X Factor in 2008, aged just 15, performing a cover of Whitney Houston's Where Do Broken Hearts Go. But sadly, things didn't work out for Jade who was later sent packing by the judges, including Simon Cowell and Cheryl Tweedy .
Following her exit, she returned to the show in 2010 but was sent home again. Things soon changed for Jade though in 2011 when she returned for the eighth series. Despite initially being sent home, Jade was brought back alongside Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards and Jesy Nelson to form Rhythmix, who were eventually renamed Little Mix .
The 31-year-old has now shared a throwback snap with former judge Cheryl after heading to the O2 Arena to see Girls Aloud on their completely sold-out The Girls Aloud Show tour. Taking to Instagram in view of her 10.5 million followers, the songstress who is preparing to launch her solo career looked very different.
Posing with Cheryl, 41, Jade could be seen wearing a silver top paired with blue denim jeans and red ballet shoes as she gazed into the camera lens. While she's known for her glossy and long wavy hair, Jade opted for a slick bob as she wrapped her hand around Cheryl's tiny waist. Meanwhile, Cheryl looked sensational in a figure-hugging blue gown with her glossy brunette locks flowing over her shoulder as she completed her look with bombshell red lipstick and kil.
