The track is the latest to be released from Peck's upcoming album 'Stampede' Orville Peck has teamed up with Beck for their new high rolling collab ‘Death Valley High’. Check it out below. The track features a bright horn section and groovy bass and guitar lines while both Peck and Beck sing: “Sin City lights / Spin the wheel around and roll the dice / Death Valley high / Gonna let it run like the devil’s son tonight,” shouting out Las Vegas and its electric scene.
Directed by Austin Peters, the accompanying video for ‘Death Valley High’ serves as a tribute to Vegas and opens with the words “Peck Beck” in lights as a homage to Elvis Presley ’s ’68 comeback special. It sees both musicians perform in the middle of a roulette wheel and features cameos by Sharon Stone and Gigi Goode while having a night out in Sin City. The song is the latest to be shared from Peck’s forthcoming album ‘Stampede’ which is set for release on August 2 via Warner.
The LP will also feature ‘Midnight Ride’, the masked singer’s collab with Kylie Minogue and Diplo as well as ‘You’re an Asshole, I Can’t Stand You (and I Want a Divorce)’ featuring Margo Price .
