Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher has performed hits from the band’s debut album in front of enraptured fans at Trnsmt. The look of the day was a St Andrews flag wrapped around an Oasis T-shirt, which was adopted by many young fans. Others wore black-and-white Adidas football shirts branded “Gallagher” on the back.

He belted out Shakermaker and also performed Married With Children, both from Definitely Maybe. Dressed in his trademark parka, he used a maraca to create the vibe which won Oasis legions of fans in the 1990s. She addressed the crowd, saying: “Our first record was released in 1995 before most of you were born.” She dedicated a song to Siouxsie And The Banshees, and said they inspired Garbage in the 1980s. She commented on the number of pink cowboy hats in the crowd, and said: “Taylor Swift has taken the music industry and made it her bitch.
