Share to Facebook Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin Sketch by Yves Saint Laurent A Paris-based Moroccan independent art curator with a background in museum curation and art history, Mouna Mekouar has organized exhibitions at the Centre Pompidou-Metz, Palais de Tokyo, Musée du Quai Branly, Jeu de Paume and Musée Yves Saint Laurent Marrakech. At the initiative of the Pierre Bergé - Yves Saint Laurent Foundation , which aims to highlight the artistic influences of Yves Saint Laurent , Mekouar co-curated the “Yves Saint Laurent in Museums” exhibition in 2022, marking the 60th anniversary of his first haute couture collection under his own name. In an unprecedented format, the exhibition, offering visitors the chance to rediscover the designer’s creative process, his inspirations and his clothes, was on show simultaneously in six Parisian institutions: Centre Pompidou, Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris, Louvre Museum, Musée d’Orsay, Musée National Picasso-Paris and Musée Yves Saint Laurent Paris .
