LEGENDARY Irish folk band Clannad have announced they will play a show at The Royal Albert Hall later this year. The group, which comprises siblings Ciarán, Moya and Pól Brennan, made their live debut in 1970 at a music competition in Letterkenny, County Donegal. As well as the siblings, the original line-up also included their late twin uncles, Pádraig Duggan (died 2016) and Noel Duggan (died 2022). Meanwhile, the band also previously featured Enya, one of Ireland’s best-known and highest selling singers and composers.



She is the sister of the three Brennan siblings and niece of Noel and Pádraig Duggan. The Royal Albert Hall performance will take place on October 30, with tickets going on presale from Wednesday, May 22 followed by general on sale on Friday, May 24.
