The man charged with the killing of rap icon in 1996 in Las Vegas is set to . Duane “Keffe D” Davis is currently preparing for his trial following the brutal murder of the hip-hop icon. His attorney has now filed documents and scheduled a hearing on Tuesday where he will ask permission for a $750,000 bond to be posted so he can be freed to be on electronic tag and under house arrest.

Davis ever since his arrest on September 29 last year. He is now scheduled to go to trial on November 4. Should he be found guilty of the murder he could face spending the rest of his life in prison.



Davis previously filed a motion to be released on bail back in January. The gangster and confessed criminal was arrested and charged with allegedly providing the weapon in the murder of Tupac. According to the defense, Keefe D is not a danger to the public nor is he a flight risk, but the prosecutors fought back hard against the move.

They were previously concerned that his release could pose a threat to the witnesses involved in the case. However, the only direct witness to the event that is still alive, Suge Night, is actively behind bars due to an unrelated incident. Prosecutors, however, claimed that Keefe's son admitted there is a "green light" order to kill potential witnesses.

In their motion, they insisted that Keefe's son told him this during a recorded jail phone call. Las Vegas Chief Deputy District Attorney Marc DiGacomo is a party in that authorization. The gangster's attorney Robert.
