New Delhi: Joining Eva Longoria in the cast of the forthcoming comedy-drama series Land of Women are Carmen Maura, Victoria Bazua, Santiago Cabrera, and many more. Sandra Barneda’s groundbreaking book La Tierra de las Mujeres, which she released a decade ago, is the inspiration for the six-part series. Gal Scott, played by Eva Longoria, is an affluent New Yorker whose life takes a dramatic turn when her husband Fred, played by James Purefoy, implicates the family in a 15-million-dollar case of financial misconduct.
