New Delhi: Bollywood actor Naseeruddin Shah never shies away from voicing his views on hot topics, whether they concern the political arena or the entertainment world. The 73-year-old star recently opened up about Prime Minister Narendra Modi and expressed what the 73-year-old leader can do to convey that he has no aversion to Muslims. In a recent interview with The Wire, Naseeruddin Shah said that he’d like to see Prime Minister Narendra Modi wear a skullcap someday.
He recalled an incident from 2011 when PM Modi refused a skullcap at a function, stating that the memory has become difficult to erase. Naseeruddin Shah mentioned that if PM Modi wears a skullcap, the gesture would help in conveying to Muslims that he has no aversion to them. On the professional front, Naseeruddin was last seen on the silver screen in Kuttey.
