Kevin Bacon issues sad family update after Lily loss Renowned actor Kevin Bacon shared some uncanny stories about his lesser-known life on tour as part of the band The Bacon Brothers. The 65-year-old found solace in his music career last year when much of Hollywood came to a standstill amid the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes, so rather than picketing or simply staying home, the band went on the road. The actor admitted that touring has its downsides, namely the lack of a kitchen which made it difficult to cook properly, and recalled one “road story” that actually came with some injuries as he warned fans not to follow in his footsteps.

He explained on Late Night with Seth Meyers that one day he opted to skip the free breakfast at one hotel and instead, only grabbed a couple of hard-boiled eggs for the road as they headed from “one lousy hotel to another”. Safely set up his next hotel room, and now with an appetite, the Footloose star fished out his eggs and popped them into the microwave to warm them up a bit.
