Sergio, the 43 year old rock star, graced Friday night's episode alongside celebrities Paul Whitehouse and Gabby Logan. With Glastonbury vibes in the air, he was quizzed about Kasabian's previous gig at the festival, to which he humorously claimed to have "no recollection" of it.
Chatting outside the BBC studios before his set, host Alex probed him on the success of his new album, Happenings, cheekily enquiring: "You've had album out a week today. You've had six number-one albums already. Is this lucky number seven?" Sergio, deadpan, responded: "I hope so, but who knows.
Let's hope no one dies," clasping his hands as if in prayer. "That's always the worst thing. Someone can die and then you're just finished.
" The awkward silence that followed among the guests was tangible until Alex remarked: "Well, that's very dark", reports the Mirror .
