Prabhas steps away from his usual angry young man persona, adopting a more playful character in Bhairava, a bounty hunter and opportunist. Carefree with dreams of luxurious living in the Complex, Bhairava is a refreshing change for Prabhas. While his performance isn't Oscar-worthy, he embodies Bhairava’s playfulness well, especially in his interactions with his AI car, Bhuji.

Prabhas shines in the action scenes, but there's more to Bhairava's character that promises excitement in future installments. Kalki was touted as Prabhas' comeback after failures like Saalar and Adipurush and we're glad to report that it is indeed a great comeback. Amitabh Bachchan, the man you are, Big B ate and left no crumbs.



Bachchan, at 81, delivers a standout performance as Ashwatthama, the immortal guardian of Kalki. Bachchan’s portrayal is near flawless, from his commanding presence to his impeccable dialogue delivery. His action sequences are on par with, if not better than, those of Prabhas, showcasing his enduring prowess.

Bachchan truly carries much of the film’s weight on his seasoned shoulders, leaving the audience in awe of his enduring talent. Deepika Padukone plays SUM-80, aka Sumati, a pivotal character with minimal screen time. She portrays a worker in the Complex, prophesied to carry the world's savior.

Despite her important character, she has very limited dialogues and there is no depth to her character apart from being the 'mother' of the saviour. Kamal Haasan plays the ultim.
