Montreal’s Just for Laughs announced Wednesday it has reached an agreement with Quebec City festival ComediHa! to sell “select Just for Laughs assets” as part of the restructuring process that began with . Details of the agreement were not published, and the parties said they would not comment on it until a court hearing to approve the deal, which is set for June 3. ComediHa!, founded in 1997, it would fill some of the void left by the cancelled Just for Laughs festival in Montreal this July.
