Maria expressed her delight over the annulment on her Instagram page on Sunday, June 9, saying the 13-year wait was a “test of faith and trust” in God’s promises and timing. “Finally, after 13 years of waiting, my petition for nullity of marriage has been granted by the Supreme Court. It was indeed a test of faith and trust – FAITH in God’s promises and TRUST in God’s timing,” she said.

A post shared by Jodi Sta.Maria (@jodistamaria) The actress admitted that the long wait was “frustrating, discouraging, and even heartbreaking,” as she shared that there were moments when she felt upset at God and was almost on the brink of “giving up waiting.” “God is never in a hurry.

He is never too late. Never too early. Believe He is able to do something about your situation,” she said.

“Trust He has a plan for you and that plan is even better than the one you have for yourself. And when God finally calls you out of the waiting room, don’t forget to thank Him and give Him all the glory.” She also thanked her “prayer warriors” and lawyer, Atty.

Connie Jimenez-Aquino of Calleja Law Office, for “never giving up” on her annulment case. “Now I can finally say..

. CASE CLOSED,” she added. Sta.
