In a welcome move last year, Marvel Studios decided to embrace its seemingly abandoned Marvel Television legacy. As a result, the assorted Marvel Netflix series made their way to Disney+ and the official MCU timeline. Similarly, next year’s “Daredevil: Born Again” was retooled and is now essentially bringing back many of the core actors from the series during its Netflix days, including Charlie Cox (Daredevil), Vincent D’Onofrio (The Kingpin) and Jon Bernthal (The Punisher) along with several supporting characters.
It begs the question, who else could come back? Krysten Ritter, Mike Colter and Finn Jones led individual series as Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Danny Rand/Iron Fist respectively. They also teamed up with Cox’s Daredevil in “The Defenders” series. Speaking with recently, Ritter repeated similar comments she’s made in the past that she’s eager to take on the Jessica Jones role again: “100% [I would return as Jessica Jones].
I am ready, and I would, of course, be there in a heartbeat. She’s a character who I absolutely love, and she was a part of my life for so long. I played that character for five years, and she’s a character who’s very important to me and many women and men.
