The alarm was raised by his wife, Clare , after the TV doctor failed to return from a walk from St Nikolas Beach he had begun in the early hours of Wednesday afternoon. As a result, a search and rescue operation was officially commenced, leaving followers of the 67 year old on tenterhooks. An anxious Jeremy shared that he was keeping both Clare Mosley and Michael's family (which includes four children) in his thoughts amidst this distressing time awaiting updates.



"I'm praying this lovely man is found and thinking of Clare and the whole Mosley family", the BBC Radio lunchtime presenter posted on social media, eliciting responses from followers such as "Seems a very genuine bloke. Hope he's OK." The Channel 5 star wasn't the only celebrity expressing apprehension over Michael Mosley's disappearance.
