Jeremy Clarkson has shared a pretty blunt picture following England’s Euro final 2024 defeat against Spain in Berlin this evening. Gareth Southgate ’s Three Lions were hoping for a historic victory – the first international trophy in 60 years – but it wasn’t meant to be as Spain saw in the full time whistle beating the boys 2 – 1. While the celebrities showered the England team with all the love and affection leading up to the result, they are now sending slightly more deflated messages of condolences for themselves, the country and the team.

The Clarkson’s Farm star, 64, posted no words but simply a picture of a bin filled with England flags and Union Jacks after the results came in. Ouch. ‘It’s not coming home,’ Piers Morgan simply wrote on X, while Nigella Lawson said: ‘Right.

Commenting on the video and the England loss, Kate said: ‘The only person in the country slightly relieved England didn’t win as I was going to make her get @philfoden’s haircut if we did. ‘(Shes supportively dressed as a beefeater because she couldn’t find her England shirt.)
