star Drew Basile has revealed why he does not think he will be getting invited back to ’s reunion season. It was recently revealed that the will see former players return to compete to be crowned the Sole Survivor. However, 23-year-old Drew - who was after enjoying a seven-game winning streak - does not see himself making the lineup for the all-star season.
The master’s student - who previously declared himself “one of the smartest people to ever play” Survivor - became the first person to appear on both reality shows. The reality star says he would “love” to get the call up for Survivor 50, but is not holding his breath. Speaking to about the upcoming season, Drew - who made it to the final six of Survivor 45 before being blindsided by his own alliance members - said: “Anyone who has ever sniffed the Fijian beaches is praying for a call for season 50, and I would be delighted, I really would.
” Drew revealed that he has stayed friends with the majority of his fellow castaways and is happy looking back at his performance on the show. Despite thinking he has “more to offer”, the Oxford University student described why he does not feel the need to return as a Survivor contestant. He said: “It's kind of like in the movies when you have a perfect ending and then they make another sequel - sometimes it's good to just stick with the perfect ending.
” In a surprisingly humble tone, Drew added that there are “many other eminently qualified players”, and said.
