During the latest episode of the Inside podcast hosts revealed the category In the June 24 episode, hosts highlighted last week's round of games. After 5-time super champion Adriana Harmeyer's run came to a disappointing end she joined the two to reflect on her incredible run on the game show. As was the only super-champion so far of the pair went on to ask a number of questions as to how she pulled off the incredible feat and what she found most challenging about the competition.
During the episode, Sarah asked: "Now coming in, had you thought about math much?" To which Adriana replied: "I thought about math a fair bit," and added: "My ultimate plan that I somehow managed to mostly pull off was to be in the lead going into finals so I don't have to do very much math." Sarah went on to explain: "Well, it just always amazes me with everything that our champions and contestants know that the math part of it is somehow the most terrifying," and added: "You know, knowing random bits of information and being able to recall it quickly and being great on the buzzer, all those things, that's fine. But the thought of having to do math in a pressure situation, that really terrifies many.
" The podcast host went on to explain what when contestants are given a math round they are handed a pen and paper but are expected to do all the mental calculation themselves. She said that the category is especially daunting to players because if someone does a step just slightly wrong it could cost t.
