JEOPARDY! fans have mocked a contestant for their answer to a seemingly no-brainer clue and blamed Ken Jennings for causing him to guess incorrectly. The moment happened on Tuesday's episode of Jeopardy! where Travis Kissire went up against Adriana Harmeyer and Christina Paul. Travis was working his way up to Adriana, who strongly held the first-place spot when host Ken stumped him in the Daily Double.

The Idaho native chose the category Idioms and Expressions, hoping it would rake in enough to tail his opponent. "Sticky foot pads called pulvilli are needed if you want to literally be this & listen to others' conversations while unseen," the clue read. However, Travis' dumbfounded facial expression made it clear he wasn't confident in his answer.

"What is...

on little cat feet?" Travis unsurely replied. Sadly, Travis didn't guess correctly and lost his $3,800 wager. Ken revealed the correct answer was "a fly on the wall," and moved on to the next clue.

Viewers reacted to Travis' off-kilter response on a Jeopardy!-dedicated online forum where many were surprised by the deputy public works director's flub. "What is little cat feet?" one fan asked in the thread. "There's a poem by Carl Sandburg where he describes the fog coming 'on little cat feet.

' That's the only thing I know the phrase from," another explained. "Just a last minute guess I imagine, the clue was about feet and there are various expressions and phrases about cats being sneaky (cat burglar, cat's paw, etc.), sugge.
