JEOPARDY! fans have rallied behind a contestant they felt got particularly unfair treatment on Tuesday night. Anna Poane was in first place until a storm of sudden score changes resulted in what some dubbed the most "insane" episode to date. Halfway through the July 9 episode, Ken Jennings dramatically halted the game to make four corrections.

Ken, 50, informed contestants Anna, Kathy Davis, and Isaac Hirsch that the judges had reversed multiple answers. Due to these last-minute changes, Isaac's earnings jumped from $8,600 to $15,000, while Kathy's dropped from $600 to $200. However, many fans sympathized with Anna, whose score remained at $9,000 but saw her confident lead vanish, placing her in a distant second.

She struggled afterward, barely buzzing in, and lost to Isaac, who secured his fifth win, totaling $120,186. In a Reddit game thread, Jeopardy! fans argued that the stoppage threw Anna off and urged producers to invite her back. "Anna is about as deserving of a second chance spot as I can remember.

She thought she was playing with a lead and the judges completely flipped the game on her. The rulings were reasonable but I think I would have mentally broken down after that," one user wrote. Another fan joked, mimicking host Ken, "'We have a few clues left but first we have to implement a seven-thousand-dollar swing in the scores.

Don’t let it affect your gameplay or general outlook on life.'” "The score change was far too late and far too impactful. I’m pissed," .
