Jeff Brazier has a sweet reason for avoiding the Strictly Come Dancing call after reportedly being asked to sign up. The TV presenter was sounded out about joining the BBC contest later this year, it is claimed. But a lot like the dancers, he says he's not interested in treading on toes.

Jeff's eldest son Bobby starred on Strictly last year, and his old man isn't keen on following in his footsteps. Jeff is said to be one of the stars telly bosses had in their sights but it doesn't look like a second Brazier will take to the dancefloor. "Bobby’s been there, it’s his thing," Jeff said when asked about appearing in the next series, which is once again expected to get underway in September.



"I feel like to step into that world would almost be to sort of steal his thunder slightly, " he told The Sun. "I've got plenty of things that I really enjoy doing, I've got lots of exciting projects moving forward and I'll stay in my lane - I don't think that going on Strictly would be right for me right now." Jeff last week opened up about his journey of self-improvement, revealing that he's been using therapy and meditation to heal past traumas.

The 45-year-old has dedicated eight years to talking therapy to confront the demons of his past, and he's convinced it's transformed him into a better dad. Speaking to OK!
