This Morning descended into chaos after a series of mishaps live on-air. On Thursday's show (July 18), presenters Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary were joined by Money Supermarket Expert and founder Martin Lewis, who appeared via video link. However, before going live, a technical glitch meant that Martin was off-centre on the monitor, prompting him to ask: "Am I in the middle? We'd suffered technical issues earlier and I was not in the middle.
" Dermot reassured him: "Yes, you are, it's all fine here." Little did the former X Factor star know, however, that things weren't "fine" - in fact, there were more blunders to come, as they later lost connection with their production team, reports the Mirror . The pair were due to host a question and answer session with Martin, where viewers could call in with their financial woes for the money expert to answer.
But as they tried to get things started, it became clear that something wasn't right, with Dermot admitting: "We don't have any communication of who you're going to be speaking to." He mulled over the situation, wishing for a swift update to his system which unfortunately didn't come. Dermot stumbled momentarily before announcing: "We'll be speaking to Eileen.
" The TV anchor enquired: "Do we have Eileen," and then informed the audience: "Sadly, not no." Alison promptly joined in to assist her fellow presenter, adding: "Let's have a look, the phone in..
