This Morning caller breaks down in tears about friendship ITV fans who tuned into Friday's edition of This Morning witnessed a caller break down in tears live on air. Josie Gibson and Alison Hammond co-presented together and took on the role of Agony Aunts during the programme. The first caller, named 'Rachel', opened up about her dilemma of falling out with her best friend.
She explained that she had booked a surprise trip to Plymouth for her friend, despite the pair having agreed that they would book it together. However, Rachel went ahead and booked it without realising that it would potentially cost their friendship as her friend now doesn't speak to her. She asked advice from Alison and Josie about what she did wrong, before breaking down in tears live on air.
Josie said: "If your friend is watching now, is there anything you'd like to say?", to which Rachel started crying and saying that she didn't want to lose her and that she loves her very much and that her feelings have been hurt. The caller added: "I've known her since I was 11-years-old so hopefully one day we can go to Plymouth and have a couple of pints and it'll all be okay."
