There is reportedly "tension" behind the scenes at ITV 's daytime department over the suggestion that big name guests are going on This Morning but not other shows. The claim this week comes following Ben Shephard , 49, and Cat Deeley , 47, having taken over as hosts of This Morning in March. There's now said to be concerns that they have been given "better guests" than some of their colleagues on other shows in a bid to "pull them out of a ratings slump".
Good Morning Britain host Susanna Reid , 53, and Lorraine Kelly , 64, who fronts her own self-titled show, are said to be "frustrated" that "top names" are not on their respective shows. Examples given were Barbie 's Ryan Gosling , Royal Family member Princess Beatrice and Succession's Brian Cox , who have all been on This Morning in recent months.
