ITV has no plans for new series of Shopping with Keith Lemon (Image: ITV) ITV have reportedly cancelled comedy series Shopping with Keith Lemon, after five years and four successful series. The ITV2 show which was helmed by Leigh Francis' alter-ego Keith, first aired in 2019 and saw the comedic character take celebrities out shopping while speaking about their lives and careers. A whole host of famous faces have graced their presence on the show, including Mel B, Amanda Holden , Caitlyn Jenner and Sharon Osbourne , to name a few.
The show was clearly a hit with audiences as the first series managed to pull in a whopping 1.5 million viewers. A spokesperson from ITV told Express.
co.uk : "There are no current plans for a new series but the show will continue to have a regular presence across both ITV2 and ITVX with repeat programming." Leigh, 51, had plenty of success as the very crude Keith for 11 years, starring as the character in many different shows across ITV.
He started out as Keith with Keith Lemon's Very Brilliant World Tour in 2008, followed by the very successful panel show Celebrity Juice, from 2008 to 2022.
