Lorraine admits she hasn't finished Celia Imrie's book Lorraine Kelly found herself in an uncomfortable position during a chat with Bridget Jones star Celia Imrie, who was on the show to discuss her new book. The veteran ITV presenter, known for her thorough preparation before interviewing guests, admitted she wasn't as ready as she'd have liked for Monday's (July 1) episode. In a face-to-face conversation with Celia, Lorraine awkwardly confessed that she hadn't had the opportunity to finish reading her guest's book, Meet Me At Rainbow Corner.

The Scottish TV host lamented not having enough time to get through Celia's latest work. It became clear that Lorraine was unprepared when Celia explained the significance of the book's release date, July 4. Celia said: "Thursday will be a busy day but nether the less that will be coming out [she pointed at the book] on July 4th because of the GIs, in honour of them.

Rather than pretending to know more about the book, Lorraine chose to admit that she hadn't had sufficient time to read it all, reports the Daily Star .
