ITV have announced a huge schedule shake-up for their election coverage. On 4th July, the general public from all areas of the UK will go to the polls to vote for their local MP. As part of the coverage of the election, ITV have now announced their plans for the day and the following days coverage.

It has now been confirmed that Tom Bradby will be anchoring the coverage throughout July 4th and onwards, whilst the next day Good Morning Britain will be airing a special show from 6am, with Susanna Reid and Ed Balls at the helm. There will be appearances from the likes of Good Morning Britain regulars Andrew Pierce and The Mirror's Kevin Maguire as well as former PM Boris Johnson's communications chief Guto Harri, Labour veteran Harriet Harman, former Chancellor of the Exchequer Kwasi Kwarteng , newly enobled Labour peer Ayesha Hazarika and former Prime Minister Gordon Brown. Away from its usual offerings of Lorraine, This Morning and Loose Women , ITV will continue to put out their election coverage form 9.



25am onwards, with Julie Etchingham as host as the results are revealed.
