Emmerdale's Ash Palmisciano, who plays Matty Barton, has hinted at more drama for his character. Currently, Matty is in prison on remand, accused of stabbing Samson Dingle and trying to keep his identity as a trans man hidden from fellow inmates. Despite his family's desperate attempts to secure his release, Matty has been too frightened to shower or leave his cell.
