Britain's Got Talent judge Simon Cowell said that one of the contestants was "better" than their performance in the latest semi-final after reacting to the act with his red buzzer. Simon, 64, was joined by fellow judges Amanda Holden , 53, Alesha Dixon , 45, and Bruno Tonioli , 68, on the panel of the ITV show on Thursday night. It was the penultimate semi-final and featured various returning performers.
Among them was comedian Kevin Finn, 30, who took the stage again as part of his stand-up comedy act. The routine included attempts at several regional accents, after he previously performed a similar set at his first audition. Just minutes into the routine Simon pressed his red buzzer.
He later provided feedback to semi-finalist Kevin, telling him after the performance: "I'm sorry I buzzed, however, look ...
like I [have] said before, we feed off the audience. When a comedian is working you can feel it within about 10 seconds. "Without being rude, the audition felt like it went on forever and it didn't start well.
The end maybe was better but ...
honestly, you're gonna be disappointed, I think, when you watch this back because you're better than that." He further commented whilst addressing the routine.
