Britain's Got Talent viewers were left unimpressed on Thursday night's live semi-final as they spotted a 'pointless' show trend. During the latest instalment, Abigail & Afronitaaa, Andrew Curphey, Harrison Pettman, Itzel Salvatierra, Kevin Finn, Nabe, Northants Sings Out and Phoenix Boys took to the stage in order to impress judges Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and Bruno Tonioli . At the end of the show, it was revealed that Abigail & Afronitaaa had sailed through to the final while Phoenix Boys and Northants Sings Out were in the top two with the judges having to make the decision over which act makes it to the final - Bruno picked Phoenix Boys while both Amanda and Alesha picked Northants Sings Out.

It was down to Simon to have the final say to which he admitted: "I knew this was going to happen...



" as he picked Phoenix Boys.
