Adventurous cruise-goers will soon have the opportunity to experience a giant swing that suspends them over the edge of a ship, with nothing but the ocean beneath them. The thrilling Cliffhanger, set to be the only over-water swing ride at sea, is scheduled to open next year on MSC Cruises' enormous new vessel, MSC World America, which will make its debut in April 2025. The attraction can accommodate four riders at a time, lifting them over the ship's edge before swinging them back and forth approximately 50m above the water.

But it's not just the Cliffhanger that's expected to be a hit with passengers. Other highlights include an 11-deck-high slide, six pools, 14 hot tubs, roller discos, and more.



Additionally, there will be a massive water park featuring exciting slides, including a VR experience - it could quickly become a top contender for the best cruise waterparks families won't want to miss. Food enthusiasts will be spoilt for choice with 13 restaurants, as well as 20 bars and lounges on board, including a traditional British pub and a gin bar (complete with cocktail making sessio.
