A WAG has revealed that life isn't always easy being married to a footballer. Abbie Guy is the wife of Carlisle United Midfielder Callum Guy, and the pair share two children, Ava and George. The mum-of-two revealed that she hadn't worked in six years and relies on Callum financially, but that doesn't mean she's sitting down and relaxing all day.
The WAG said: "My husband is a professional footballer and I haven't been to work in 6 years. "Whilst I depend on Callum financially, I definitely have my own job of being mum and raising our two children." Abbie revealed that life as a Wag wasn't all about glamour, and she's had to make some serious sacrifices to help support Callum in his career.
She reveals she has had to move location plenty of times to keep up with his career- missing out on quality time with family and friends. And that's not all, Abbie has also put her own career goals on the back burner for her family. She continued: "Technically I could go to work yes, but logistically, and what's better for our family as I stay home raising the children.
" The matriarch explained that family live two hours away and the only childcare help she gets is from when the kids are at school, so it made sense for her to be on hand to her kids. Of course, Callum's job isn't flexible so he wouldn't be able to pick them up from school if they were sick, so Abbie takes the lead in family life.
