Trade Street now has a sports bar. Miller’s on Trade opened this spring at 622 N. Trade St in the former Miller’s Variety Store.

Miller’s – a fixture on Trade Street for 88 years – had been closed since 2016. Mayfair Hospitality Group, which also opened ROAR in the renovated the art-deco building a6 633 N. Liberty St.



, runs Miller’s on Trade. The renovated space on Trade is about 3,800 square feet and can seat up to 200 people. Seating is a mix of bar stools, tall tables, and couches.

Higgins also said he is working on adding a patio in the rear. The bar has about 20 TVs for watching the games, plus dart boards, pool tables and arcade games. There is a long bar along the right side.

The left wall is filled with sports memorabilia and photos. On a right wall there are a handful of vintage photos from the original Miller’s. At the very back of the bar is a stage.
