A BARGAIN shopper has shared the thrift find that turned out to be, well, more than they'd bargained for. The $16 boot purchase turned out to be worth much more than they'd paid for. Redditor Spicyspicysushisushi shared the thrift haul in a viral post.

They explained that they'd spotted a pair of tall black boots at their local Goodwill and couldn't resist. "I meant to post these forever ago before I wore them for half a year, but I tried these on at my local Goodwill and fell in love," they said. After bringing them to the register, they paid just $16 for the pair of fashionable boots.

It wasn't until they arrived at home were they able to conduct a little more research on the shoes. "Only after I took them home did I realize they retail for a whopping $795!" she said. The shoes, as it turns out, are a pair of Stuart Weitzman 5050 boots.

While she wasn't 100% sure the shoes are real, she had a good inkling. "If they are genuine (they surely feel and fit like it) they're the biggest thrift score I gotten yet," she said. "Since then I've worn them nearly every day while the weather was still cool.

"As tempted as I was to resell them, I'm even more giddy I get to wear such nice shoes - I just hope I didn't burn through all my thrift luck with these!" Photos of the shoes showed off its glossy leather. The boots even sported Stuart Weitzman's logo on the sole, further her theory that they are legitimate. Here are some of the best thrift store finds: Viewers were impressed by her .
