For anyone who has sat, eyes glued, mouth watering, through every single episode of the Great British Bake Off ever made over the past 14 years, can there be anything more tempting than getting to sample the sweet treats of one of the show's winners? If you've got a sweet tooth like me, then I'm afraid the answer is no, there is nothing more tempting than this. So when GBBO 's third ever champion baker, John Whaite, announced he was launching his own mail order brownie company earlier this year, it's fair to say it sent many of us cake fans into a meltdown. John, along with his partner Paul, launched Ruff Puff Brownies in February, baking from their home turf in Wrightington in Lancashire .

It's fair to say things are going well for Ruff Puff Brownies. I've felt near hypnotised watching the brownie batter being cooked up, and dreamed that one day.
