Take a step back in time at the Colorado Renaissance Festival this summer. Knights, kings, queens and everything in between will return to Larkspur starting this Saturday for eight weekends filled with jousting, knighting ceremonies and much more. The annual festival features a wide range of entertainment for attendees of all ages to enjoy like comedy shows, musical acts and interactive activities.

Here's what to know about this year's festival: Dates: June 15 through August 4; Saturdays and Sundays only. Open rain or shine Times: 10 a.m.

Box Office $28 Adult, $12 children ages 5-12 Online e-tix $26.50 Adult, $11 children ages 5-12 (purchase here ) King Soopers $25 Adult, $11 children ages 5-12 Children under 5 are free. From Colorado Springs: Head north on I-25, take Exit 172, then turn left onto Upper Lake Gulch Rd.

From there you will take another left onto Spruce Mountain Rd. Next, take a right to East Perry Park Ave., and you will arrive at the festival grounds.

From Denver: Go south on I-25 to Spruce Mountain Rd. in Douglas County, then take Exit 173 toward Larkspur. Turn right onto East Perry Park Ave.
