during his concert in , leaving some gig-goers outraged. The artist took to Forest Hills Stadium on Tuesday night for his fourth consecutive sold-out show during his tour for new album Unreal Earth. While many artists have shied away from using their fame to speak out on the ongoing , Hozier has shown his support of those facing violence overseas.

from the majority of the audience, some fans were left fuming over his words - enough to leave halfway through the show. He continued: "And we wouldn't want to see us, our tax dollars, enabling that kind of violence - enabling that kind of war. We wouldn't want to see that for anybody, it doesn't matter where you come from.
