Martin Roberts presents Homes Under the Hammer A renter has revealed she was left with unwanted changes to her home after her landlord welcomed in the Homes Under The Hammer stars. Rebecca admitted she was left disappointed by the renovation which took place before she and her children had moved into the property. The mum revealed that she knew the house would feature on the BBC series by the time she had started renting and was initially intrigued by the revamp.
While filming, homeowner Andreas Wagner gave presenter Dion Dublin a tour of the property and pointed out his issues with the household. This included a key feature from the 1970s that no longer exists in modern homes. It boasted a new sink, toilet, and fresh tiling making it look cleaner and giving it a modern appeal. The renter was also relieved that the rotten kitchen ceiling had been replaced by the time she moved in. However, Rebecca was devastated to see the 1970s kitchen hatch was altered even though Dion maintained that the feature was “pretty cool".
