It's been almost a month since the last proper Helldivers 2 update, so players are expecting big things from the upcoming patch, especially after the news that the game's updates will be slowing down significantly. Helldivers 2 developer, Arrowhead, recently made the decision to slow down on the frequency of patches in favour of fewer but 'more impactful' updates. The last Helldivers 2 patch rolled out on May 14 , and aside from the emergency hotfix at the beginning of June, we've had nothing since.
But, the studio has been brewing up a list of much-needed changes for the next update, and it finally has a date. The upcoming Helldivers 2 patch is set for this Thursday, June 13 , and while a time hasn't been confirmed, Helldivers 2 updates usually go live at around 10.05am BST / 5.
05am EDT / 2.05am PDT – although this is based on the weekly Tuesday cadence the game has previously been sticking to. Now that we're getting fewer and larger patches, this may disrupt the scheduled time.
The Helldivers 2 patch is going live on the same day as The Viper Commandos Warbond, and it's worth noting that the Premium Helldivers 2 Warbonds also go live at around this time on the second Thursday of every month, so we're pretty confident that this is when the Thursday update is going live.
