Making your way in Gotham today takes everything you’ve got. Taking a break from all your worries, like a Batman, sure would help a lot. Wouldn’t it be nice to get away? Even villains want to go where everybody knows your name: Noonan’s.
After turning Kite Man into an A-list comic book henchman with an impractical suit and a heart of gold, Max’s animated cordially invites viewers to the bar. is finally heading to Max on July 18, and it even has a trailer. The series revolves around Kite Man (again voiced by Matt Oberg) funding his purchase of longtime Gotham low-life hangout Noonan’s by contributing to Gotham’s rising crime numbers.
But the good news about is that, yes, James Adomian is returning to voice Bane. Building upon Tom Hardy and ’s groundbreaking work in the field of Bane Voice Studies, Adomian has turned Bane into an icon, a sex symbol, and a villain with very low self-esteem. But, hey, at least he gets some fancy new duds in the trailer.
Also returning is Oberg’s infectiously dopey turn as Kite Man, one of Gotham’s great himbos, Rory Scovel’s Gus the Goon, and J.B. Smoove’s Frank the Plant.
Okay, maybe there’s a lot of good news with . However, while some characters are returning, their voice actors may not be. The mantel of Golden Glider has passed from Cathy Ang to Stephanie Hsu, who will continue the Kite Man’s new girlfriend story arc from ’s season three finale.
