Fans are sounding off on 's recent Instagram post celebrating her and husband 's third anniversary. While the post seemed harmless at first glance, some fans believed she was shading her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale by declaring her love for her current husband. The No Doubt singer shared photos of the couple's wedding day on Instagram to celebrate their anniversary.
"July 3, 2021, it has always been you," Gwen captioned the photos. Fans in the comments thought the caption might have been throwing shade at Gavin, who she was with for 20 years. "No, it hasn’t.
Clearly you both had people and more importantly children before you met," one critic shared. "It’s hasn’t always been you more like It’s become you ..
. or something y’all are the songwriters." "Always?? What about 16 years with the other dude?" another wrote.
"It shows so much insecurity, her need to somehow put her ex-husband down in little, petty ways. It doesn’t give me a (truly) happy vibe," another added. "Yeah the caption is faulty," another fan replied.
