A 12-year-old girl from Grimsby is shooting for victory after becoming a regional and national clout archery champion. After developing a passion for clout archery - a form of archery in which the archers shoot at a flag long-distance - Kiya Christoffersen secured the top spot as the Barebow Clout champion in her gender and age range back in October, before becoming champion in both the East Riding and Yorkshire. Kiya is now setting her sights on beating the national record, and dad Dave couldn't be prouder of his daughter.

She joined a target-shooting club in July 2022, and when she discovered clout archery she just loved it. "Last July there was a clout competition, so we went along and had a go, and she won a silver medal there.
A couple of competitions were coming up so we entered her for the East Midlands ones and she won those, so we entered her for the national competition and she won that as well. Now she's the national, East Midlands, East Riding and Yorkshire champion.
