One of Greater Manchester's most historic breweries is preparing to give beer lovers a 'once-in-a-lifetime' opportunity to go behind the scenes as part of an inaugural beer festival. Joseph Holt will be welcoming members of the public inside as it hosts a beer festival to celebrate its 175th anniversary at its brewery on Empire Street in Cheetham Hill. Visitors to the festival will be able to enjoy a full range of beers as well as a broad selection of ales and lagers from different breweries across the UK.
Taking place on 20-21 September, The Joseph Holt beer festival 2024 will also include a series of first-time brewery tours. They will offer a bird’s eye view into the famous workings of historic brewery, which has been in the same family for six generations.
