Grace stars John Simm and Richie Campbell were spotted cooling down with ice lollies during a hot day of filming. The ITV drama continued its filming in Brighton for the latest series of the show and headed in and out of a home in Eaton Place in Kemptown in between takes. Other actors wearing medical scrubs and other costumes also mingled on set as the show continued to film scenes on the first day of summer in the city.
Crews took cover from the shade under gazebos erected on the street while Simm and Campbell filmed scenes inside the building on Friday afternoon. Grace, based on Peter James’s best-selling detective novels set in Brighton, has been filming across the city earlier this year.

John Simm returns as the titular detective Roy Grace while Campbell returns as DS Glenn Branson. The show is expected to air next year.
