Pete and Sophie Sandiford are the lovable brother-sister duo on Channel 4 ’s Gogglebox , joining the likes of best friends Jenny and Lee , and sisters Ellie and Izzi . The Blackpool siblings quickly became fan favourites when they joined the cast in 2018, with their quick wit and giant mugs of tea. And while they’ve expanded their family and introduced the newest Sandiford member to Gogglebox , they’ve also got a surprising familial relationship to huge TV icons.
Over the years, rumours started to circulate that Sophie and Pete were related to another famous comedy sibling duo: Paul and Barry Chuckle. When Barry Chuckle died back in 2018 at the age of 73, Sophie tweeted: ‘You filled millions of childhoods with laughter and entertainment including mine and Peters. ‘You will be sadly missed by many. Rest in peace uncle Barry.
