Glastonbury star, Caity Baser, has hit back at fans who are unimpressed with this year's line-up, urging them to "chill out". The famous festival opens its doors again on Wednesday as thousands of revellers rock up to see singers, including Shania Twain, Dua Lipa and Sza strut their stuff on the Pyramid Stage. There are some big names set to perform on Worthy Farm in the West Country, including Coldplay - who are headlining again.
However, some fans have slammed the line-up, prompting Caity to issue some words of advice. The 21-year-old Pretty Boys singer, who is the penultimate performer on the Avalon Stage on Sunday, ahead of 00s icons The Feeling said anyone unhappy with the performers should consider not going. Speaking about the naysayers, she said: "Don’t go then.
Why do you care? I have never looked at a line-up for a festival and gone: 'Oh that sh*t'," reports Metro . Caity continued: "I don’t care [who is playing] like I’m going to go and enjoy. Also, Sza, what? She’s been my number one listened-to artist since I was like 12.
I love her so much! And Coldplay? What do you mean? It’s Shania Twain. What more do you want?" The X & Y hitmaker added: "People need to chill out and I guarantee you when they’re there they’ll go 'aw that was sick'. What’s all the fuss about?" Despite brilliant books such as Country legend Shania appearing alongside 00s pop star Avril Lavigne, and the eclectic mix of LCD Soundsystem, Burna Boy, and Cyndi Lauper there were plenty.
