The band ended their set with a 'Ceasefire Now' chant IDLES have performed an electrifying set at this year’s edition of Glastonbury featuring a guest appearance by Danny Brown . The Bristol band, who released their fifth studio album ‘ Tangk ’ earlier this year, headlined the Other stage today (June 28) and kicked of their set with ‘Idea 01’ before jumping into ‘Colossus’. During the second song of the night, frontman Joe Talbot commanded the crowd to “Split into two halves, nice and wide” before yelling “Viva Palestino” and wrapping up the track.
“Thank you for giving us your love and energy tonight Glastonbury festival. This song is a celebration of all the insults I had been given throughout the years,” Talbot said later in their set, introducing the song ‘I’m Scum’. He also dedicated the track to “The people of Palestine and you (the crowd).
